My book suggestion is She Persisted by Chelsea Clinton.
This book is about multiple women in history doing something everyone else said that they couldn't and only men could. But all of these important women persisted and did what other people thought was wrong. For example, in this book Rosa Parks was told to get up and give her seat to a white man because segregation existed at that time, but she persisted—in other words, she refused to do what the bus driver wanted her to do.
This book is great for showing empowerment for women. Each one of these amazing women in history stood up for what they thought was right and did what they wanted to do and changed history for good.
I agree with Meggie that the book, She Persisted by Chelsea Clinton is a wonderful book for young ladies to read. And learn a life lesson about what happens when you believe in yourself.

I agree with Meggie, "She Protested " is a great book for all young ladies to read. It shows that
if you are determined you can achieve most anything you'd like. Two thumbs up for Meggie !!!
